Well I’m off to North Carolina for a week or so.  This is my official vacation.  I’m not going to think about work or home or anything.  I’m on vacation.  So if you are in North Carolina give me a call and we can hang out.

Tonight I walked home from work.  Normally I’ll walk up to CB6.  This is a 20 minute walk (thanks to stop lights) and I usually talk to my dad during this time–it works out well.  Tonight I stopped in, had a Pennant Ale and some nachos and then decided to head.  Tonight I felt daring, I felt alive, I felt that waiting for public transportation was for losers, so I walked.  I trudged all 57 blocks and now I feel much much better.

Of course I reaching home, after stopping by the Deli to say hi, I’m immediately ostracized, but I don’t care because I’m a walker.
